Create Your Fund Now

Would you like to honor your loved one in a special way?

By creating your very own Tribute Fund page, you can generate Hope for the future and Help for the present as you raise funds for our pALS (People with ALS) and their families. And through it all, ALS of Michigan is Here for You always.

These pages are devoted to Michigan's ALS Community and to those who are courageously battling this disease. However, you are also welcome to set up a fund for any other purpose. Donations made to your fund will make a tremendous difference in our ongoing efforts to help our pALS and their families live life as fully as possible.

For any assistance with creating or working with your special fund, please call Joanne at 1-800-882-5764, or email her now!

Lou Gehrig Memorial Fund

In Memory of Lou Gehrig

For those who would like to make a general donation.

Lou Gehrig's legacy includes an overwhelming number of baseball records...and the common name for a disease that he had the misfortune of contracting.

Known as "The Iron Horse" because he played in 2,130 consecutive games - Lou Gehrig's career started June 1, 1925 and lasted for every game the Yankees played for 15 seasons. On May 2, 1929, in Detroit, he took himself out of the game. He stayed on as the team captain even after his diagnosis at the Mayo clinic and later served on the NYC Parole Commission. He died in June, 1941 at the age of 37.

Since then many people have continued to fight the battle with ALS and, unfortunately, since there is still no known cause or cure, lose. Your help allows us to assist them with their battle. Lou will be with us in spirit!
